Eco-Runner Team Delft 2024/2025 consists of 26 students from Delft University of Technology who are ambitious to drive the transition towards a sustainable future. The team is divided into 5 departments that work on different subsystems, to create one car together. The team consists of 12 full-timers and 14 part-timers, who spend their time on the project in the TU Delft Dream Hall on the campus of Delft University of Technology.
Management is in charge of organising and overseeing the entire project, including the schedule, the technical specifications, finances, team coordination and wellbeing.
The Operations department is responsible for Eco-Runner’s interaction with the world, both from a corporate and public viewpoint. By building relationships with companies, organising events, and increasing exposure, the Eco-Runner message is spread.
The Body department is responsible for designing and producing the car’s body (as the name suggests), from its structural skeleton to its aerodynamic outer shell.
The PEP department is responsible for the vitals of the car. The combination of processes, electronics, and powertrain is the core technology that enables the car to drive.
The VD department designs and builds the moving parts within the car, which encompasses the steering, suspension, wheels, and most importantly, the brakes. These subsystems ensure that everything within the car is connected to provide the perfect driving experience.
